Your ideas for empowering team members in the safety committee really stuck with me and it was the first thing I implemented at my previous job. It raised team member morale because they felt more involved and respected, and it made me happy knowing team members had a place they could freely voice their opinion on anything safety related to start an open conversation. Fall Protection Systems - Ironworkers rely on their fall pro harness, attach points, and retractables. Giving demonstrations, checklists, taking the time to show them how to inspect their equipment has led to them inspecting before use, and actually asking me questions on things they think might be wrong!! WIN.
